Woodbine, IA – Each year, homeopathic remedies manufacturer Grato Holdings puts on a company-wide food drive to gather nonperishable food items and donates them to food pantries in Iowa and Georgia. The employee-owned company wrapped up its latest food drive last month.
Employees at the company’s locations in Woodbine, Iowa, and Gainesville, Georgia, donated food items to assist in easing food insecurities during the 2022 holidays. It’s been an annual tradition at the company since 2008. As an initiative during the holiday season, nonperishable foods were collected throughout December and delivered to the Harrison County food pantry and Georgia Mountain Food Bank before Christmas.
“Our company fully supports the ideals of community and caring,” said Mike Evans, CEO of Grato Holdings, Inc. “By giving back to the communities we inhabit in Iowa and Georgia, we can assist those less fortunate. We’d like to thank everyone who donated during this year’s food drive.”
